A veteran in the Shipping Industry, Umindha counts over 30 years of experience in the sector. During his career at several renowned steamship companies, he specialised in combining analytical skills with in-depth knowledge of container shipping and management experience to best advantage. The Director/Agency General Manager of CMA CGM Lanka from 2015 to 2022, he was responsible for operations in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Umindha has also held senior management positions at Maersk and NYK lines maintaining an excellent track record. He is a member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM, UK).
